UIA will stop flights to Krakow in January

Ukrainian International Airlines since January 14, 2020, closes the Kyiv-Krakow route. This was reported in the press service of UIA.

«To return the business to the breakeven zone, Ukraine International Airlines continues to optimize the route network in east and west directions. So, from January 14, 2020, the leading Ukrainian carrier will stop operating its own scheduled flights between Kyiv and Krakow,» the message says.

UIA also added that there will be changes in the schedule of flights connecting Kyiv and Bangkok. Starting November 16, the frequency of flights along the route will be reduced to 3 weekly flights. Starting March 29 and for the entire period of the IATA 2020 summer navigation, air traffic between the capitals of Ukraine and Thailand will be suspended.

Recall that route optimization is also related to the debts that UIA now pays to the state. The head of the Ministry of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy said that the company will face bankruptcy if it does not pay with Ukraine.
