At the end of the year: in the Odessa Sea Port, the construction of a new berth on the Androsovskiy pier was completed

The press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure reported that the construction of a new berth at Androsovskiy mole has been completed in the Odessa Sea Port. The berth is part of a major investment project that the USPA is implementing jointly with Brooklyn-Kiev and Louis Dreyfus Ukraine with financial support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The amount of investments is over $ 100 million, and the throughput capacity of the future berth is 4 million tons per year.

«For about 10 years, berth No. 1-z in the port of Odessa was listed as an unfinished construction project. And only now, through the joint efforts of the USPA, the port management and contractors, with the active support of the EBRD and private partners, the general construction work at the facility and the laying of engineering networks have been completed in full», — commented Vladislav Krikliy.

When finished, the berth will have a length of 254 meters, a width of 35 meters and a depth of 12 meters, with a perspective of up to 13.5 meters.
