The press service of the European Business Association reported that really often member companies complains about delay the clearance of goods at customs. This is due to the introduction into the ASAUR system of goods, the control of which is provided by the sectoral plan of state market surveillance for 2021. The risk system is set up in such a way that all goods included in the Sectoral Customs Inspection Plan (clothing, footwear, spare parts for vehicles, household appliances) are inspected.

Customs officers do not have the technical ability to complete all formalities without entering a photo of the appropriate markings (eg, shamrock, icons, etc.) of each unit of goods. Carrying out this type of control takes a lot of time, and this leads to downtime of cars of both foreign and Ukrainian carriers. The procedure requires arrival at a paid customs terminal.
«Representatives of the State Migration Service were informed about this problem last week during a meeting of the Public Council at the State Customs Service. The business has been promised to fix the problem of 100% suspension of goods, but the problem still remains relevant, ”the EBA said.
