Europort and logitrans: Shipping magazine presented Ukraine at the largest international exhibitions

In November 2017, two international specialized exhibitions were held: the 38th International Exhibition of River and Sea Transport, Port and Marine Technologies and Equipment EUROPORT 2017 and the International Transport and Logistics Exhibition LOGITRANS 2017. The SHIPPING magazine was a media partner of these events.

The international exhibition EUROPORT 2017 was held in November 7-10 at the center of world shipbuilding — Rotterdam (Netherlands). This is a unique event in the world marine industry, which annually attracts over 10,000 exhibitors representing at least 40 countries.

The exhibition profiles include shipbuilding and ship repair technologies, cruise and fishing vessels, navigation equipment, ship propulsion systems, deck equipment, security systems, port facilities, radio technology, information technology, services (classification, financing, navigation, etc.) . Within the framework of the exhibition there is also an international specialized conference.

In 2017, the exhibition was attended by about 1100 exhibiting companies. The event was visited by over 30 thousand visitors from 40 countries.

The international exhibition of transport and logistics LOGITRANS 2017 was held in Istanbul (Turkey) in November 15-17.

This event has an international status and is a recognized event in the world of professionals in the field of transportation, handling, freight and passenger transportation, logistics equipment and other adjacent areas. Traditionally, specialized forums, seminars and thematic round tables are held within the framework of the exhibition.

In 2016, a total exhibition area was 8900 square meters, 153 companies were presented. The number of visitors exceeded 5500 people.

This year the following thematic sections were presented at the exhibition: railway transport, loading and unloading operations, storage equipment, boats and yachts, cars, aviation.

180 exhibitors from 26 countries took part in the exhibition. The total number of participants reached 13,500.

Ukraine was represented at the exhibitions by the international SHIPPING magazine, the media partner of the event.

Visitors and participants of the exhibition could get acquainted with the possibilities of investing in the Ukrainian transport industry, port infrastructure, shipbuilding industry, as well as prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation with Ukrainian companies.

The publication plans for 2018 include a media partnership with a number of international specialized forums and exhibitions, including: Europort, Romania, (May 15-17), Posidonia, Greece (June 4-8), SMM, Germany, (September 4-7).

The SHIPPING magazine is also the general media partner of the annual International Black Sea Transport Forum TRANS EXPO ODESSA (Ukraine), which is held in September in Odessa.

TRANS EXPO ODESSA is a significant event in the transport industry and maritime industry of Ukraine, where experts and direct participants of the market set a new stage in the development of the Ukrainian economy.

The forum traditionally combines the international exhibition on transport and logistics Trans Ukraine, the international specialized exhibition Trans Rail Ukraine, the specialized exhibition Commercial and Municipal Transport, the international exhibition on shipping, shipbuilding and development of the port of Odessa. In addition to the exhibitions, the forum also hosts an international industry conference and thematic Roundtables.

In 2018, the forum TANS EXPO ODESSA is scheduled for 26-28 September.
