The press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure reported that yesterday Vladislav Kriklii held a working meeting with representatives of the international group Egis International. The sides discussed current and planned projects, as well as prospects for future cooperation. The event was attended by Chief Executive Officer of Egis Lauren Germain, Director of Egis Ukraina Arno de Rouge, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure for European Integration Natalia Forsyuk, Chairman of the SPILNO project office Taras Boychuk, Director of the Reform Support Team of the Ministry of Infrastructure Irina Koshel and other representatives of the Ministry.
Vladislav Kryklii noted that the MIU highly appreciates the support of Egis specialists in the development of the transport industry in Ukraine. He also informed about the priorities of the department in the implementation of joint projects of technical assistance in infrastructure. An important project for the shipping industry is the development of the Berdyansk Sea Trade Port, for which Egis specialists are now completing the feasibility study. Participants also discussed the possibility of attracting professional assistance from Egis for the implementation of inland waterway development projects in cooperation with the EIB and EBRD. Egis Ukraina was established in 1996 by a key engineering group in France and since then has participated in over 110 development projects in Ukraine and the CIS.
