Maersk, Braskem and PSA are planning to open a logistics center in Singapore. This strategic partnership will provide regional customers with continued access to environmentally friendly polymers despite supply chain disruptions caused by the pandemic.
Braskem, the largest petrochemical company in Latin America, has entered into strategic partnerships with Maersk and PSA Corporation Ltd to open a new logistics hub in Singapore. The agreement will allow Braskem to provide customers in Asia with regular access to its broad portfolio of polymer products. Through a new partnership with Maersk and PSA, the company will manage hub operations and focus on global logistics and multi-carrier Hub-in-Transit services at the Port of Singapore.
Note that Singapore has served as the headquarters for Braskem’s Asia division through its regional sales office for over 10 years. The new logistics hub will fully meet the growing demand in markets such as China, India, Japan, Indonesia and Thailand.
