Airbus Helicopters will supply another 10 helicopters to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and plans to open a representative office in this country. This was reported in the communication department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Next year Airbus Helicopters will deliver another 10 helicopters – Н225, Н145, Н125 – for the needs of the Unified system of aviation security and protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was announced by Minister of the Interior Arsen Avakov during a meeting with the company’s vice president Olivier Michelon in Oxford.
«In Oxford, Olivier Michelon, Vice President of Airbus Helicopters, discussed the supply of helicopters for the Ministry of Internal Affairs Aviation for 2020 and the launch of a new service center. The National Police, the State Border Service, the State Emergency Service and the National Guard will receive another 10 helicopters Н225, Н145, Н125,» Avakov noted. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also noted that the plans include opening an Airbus office in Ukraine.
Recall that in total the Ministry of Internal Affairs will receive 55 helicopters for the Unified Aviation Security and Defense Ministry. Also, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will become the first state body to purchase domestic aircraft for its units.
