In 3 quarters of 2017 LLC “Sea Special Port Nika-Tera” (is included into port business of Group DF) handled 3,35 mln tons of cargos, which exceed the index of preceding year for the same period up to 44%. In total volume of cargo turn-over the grains transshipment is 63% (2 126 thous. tons), bulk-loaded cargo – 32% (1 070 thous. tons), mineral fertilizers – 5% (156,3 thous. tons). The transshipment of general cargos for the period January – September is 0,5 thous. tons.
Totally in 3 quarters of 2017 was proceeded 184 vessels, the press office reported.
The volume growth of cargo turn-over facilitated the increasing of grains and clay transshipment, and also the widening of leguminous plants stock list, particularly peas transshipment. It was told by Harbourmaster of “Nika-Tera” Alim Agakishiev.
«By virtue of warehouses reprofiling with the purpose of agricultural products storage, which were used previously for fertilizers storage, we managed to increase volumes of grain legumes transshipment fundamentally. As a result, port «Nika-Теrа» became a leader among Ukrainian port operators of peas transshipment with share size 43%», – commented Harbourmaster of “Nika-Tera” Alim Agakishiev.
