Houston to Host LNG USA Summit (February 27-28, 2018)
Houston, Texas will be busy on Tuesday, February 27th and Wednesday, February 28th, 2018 because the 2nd Annual LNG USA Summit will be coming to town. Hundreds of delegates from companies working at every stage of LNG business will convene in one place.
“A very broad mix of senior management and decision makers across the entire value chain of LNG,” shared Keo Lukefahr, General Manager, Americas Natural Gas at PetroChina about the Summit last year. We are excited that she decided to come back in 2018 and will be joined by delegates from Next Decade, Black & Veatch, Repsol, Steelhead LNG and many more
The last time the United States was a net exporter of natural gas was in 1957, when Dwight Eisenhower was president. That should change in 2018 when the country is expected to become the world’s third-largest exporter of liquefied natural gas (LNG), writes Reuters. What developments are already in place and what still needs to be done? What are the real costs of LNG projects? Is it possible to make a full transition to LNG? What is the place of USA in the global LNG market?
These questions and much more will be covered during the 2nd Annual LNG USA Summit. The event will last two days and have 6 different panels with presentations and discussions relating to Global LNG Market Trends, LNG as Fuel for Transport, LNG Export, Transmission & Pipeline Infrastructure and Mid & Large-Scale LNG Developments. At the end of the first day, attendees
will be able to enjoy a Gala Dinner – a special event containing delicious food and drinks, numerous networking possibilities and a celebration of the best in the industry at the LNG USA Industry Awards Ceremony. Wisdom Events, who have organized the Summit, are looking forward to welcoming LNG experts and company executives to this closed-door event and hearing them discuss the most vital challenges the US LNG market and its development are facing.
