The press service of the USPA reported that in the first quarter of this year, the seaports of Ukraine handled 32.6 million tons.
“During January-March 2021, port operators in the seaports of Ukraine handled 32.6 million tons of cargo. This is 20.5% less than in the first quarter of last year,” the statement says.
At the same time, the press service also noted that the ports are gradually reducing the negative dynamics. The most popular cargoes are ore and grain. At the same time, oil transshipment in 3 months increased by 21.1%. But the number of containers handled was 4.6% less than in the same period in 2020.
